About Sistema-Hals

Sistema-Hals was established in 1994 for the purpose of consolidating and managing AFK Sistema's real estate and construction assets.

Today it is a diversified company operating in the real estate markets of Russia and the CIS.

Its broad range of development services allows the company to operate a clear system of control across the full life cycle of a property, from the conceptual design stage through to management of the completed property.

Since it was founded Sistema-Hals has successfully completed about 40 projects with a total area of about 340,000 m2. These include the headquarters of DaimlerChrysler, the Hals-Tower office building, the headquarters of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) and a hotel for the international MaMaison chain (Orco Property Group).

Sistema-Hals has built an extensive and balanced portfolio of projects in fast-growing and highly sought-after segments of the market. The Ñompany focuses on the construction of Class A and Class B office buildings, multi-use complexes, business-class residential buildings and villa communities, as well as land development.

Sistema-Hals's current projects include the construction of the Leningradsky Towers complex; an integrated programme for the redevelopment of facilities belonging to MGTS (the Moscow City Telephone Network); the renovation of the Central Detsky Mir children's department store on Lubyanka Square; the construction of the shopping center LETO in Saint Petersburg and the Kamelia luxury resort in Sochi; as well as a range of other projects.

Sistema-Hals was the first Russian real estate development company to list on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, raising $432 million through its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in November 2006. The company's shares are also traded on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX), Russian Trading System (RTS) Stock Exhcange and the Moscow Stock Exchange.

As at 1 January 2009 Cushman & Wakefield valued Sistema-Hals' interests in the facilities and projects within its portfolio at $2,049 billion.
